How to Draw a Chibi Unicorn
Draw a chibi unicorn in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: huge round head.
Step 1: Huge round head
Near the top left, draw a huge round head, a little wider than tall.
Tip A chibi head is more than half of the whole unicorn.
Step 2: Ears and horn
On top, draw 2 leaf ears and a tall pointy horn between them. Add 2 stripes across the horn.
Tip Draw a small leaf inside each ear.
Step 3: Big shiny eyes
On the head, draw 2 huge oval eyes. Add a ring, a black pupil and 2 shines in each.
Tip Huge shiny eyes make it chibi.
Step 4: Soft muzzle
Under the left eye, draw a small oval muzzle poking past the head. Add 2 nostrils and a smile.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the muzzle.
Step 5: Rainbow mane
Beside the horn, draw a fat fringe. Down the right of the head, draw 4 fat locks of mane.
Tip Each lock tucks under the one above it.
Step 6: Short back
Start under the mane. Draw a short back to the right, curl round the bottom and stop.
Tip The body is much smaller than the head.
Step 7: Chest and front leg
Start under the chin. Draw the chest down into a short leg with a round foot. Stop under the body.
Step 8: Tummy and back leg
From the front leg, draw a short tummy. Then draw a back leg down and up to the bottom.
Step 9: Far legs
Between the legs, draw 2 more short legs peeking out behind the tummy.
Tip All 4 legs are short and stand on the same flat line.
Step 10: Rainbow tail
From the top of the bottom, draw 3 fat locks of tail hanging down, each tucked under the last.
Step 11: Hooves and ground
Draw a short line across the bottom of each leg for the hooves. Add a ground line.
Step 12: White and yellow
Colour the coat white. Colour the horn, the hooves and the second lock of mane and tail yellow.
Tip Leave the eye whites and shines white.
Step 13: Pink and blue
Colour the fringe, inside the ears and the top locks pink. Add a pink cheek. Colour the third locks blue.
Step 14: Purple to finish
Colour the last lock of mane and the rings in the eyes purple. Your chibi unicorn is done!
