How to Draw a Wolf Cub
Draw a wolf cub in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Draw a big round head. Add a soft fur tuft on each cheek, then curve in to a small chin.
Tip Make the head big: a cub's head is almost as big as its body.
Step 2: Small ears
On each top corner, draw a short triangle ear with a round tip. Add a smaller one inside.
Tip Cub ears are short and stubby.
Step 3: Big eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 big round eyes, an eye apart. Add black pupils with shines.
Step 4: Short muzzle
Under the eyes, draw a short round muzzle just past the chin. Add a black nose and a smile.
Tip Keep the muzzle short: a long one makes a grown-up wolf.
Step 5: Chest and bib
Start under each cheek. Draw a short C chest and stop halfway down. Add a U bib under the chin.
Step 6: Ground and legs
Draw a ground line below the chest. From each chest line's bottom, draw a big C down to it.
Tip Each back leg is a fat rainbow on its side.
Step 7: Front legs
Start on each chest line. Draw a U down to a big mitten paw, back up to the bib.
Tip Make the paws big. Add 2 toes to each.
Step 8: Back paws
Start on each back leg near the ground. Draw a bun humping over to stop on the front paw.
Step 9: Fluffy tail
From the right back leg, draw a short fat tail up to a soft point, then down to the ground.
Tip A cub's tail is short and stubby.
Step 10: Cream bits
Colour the muzzle, the bib and the insides of the ears cream. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Grey fur
Go over your lines. Colour all the fur grey, around the cream parts. Your wolf cub is done!
