How to Draw a Llama
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big head.
Step 1: Big head
Near the top left, draw a big egg head, a little taller than wide, with a round chin.
Tip Leave lots of room on the right for the body.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw 2 big eyes in the middle, then a triangle nose. From it, draw a line down to a w.
Tip Nothing touches the eyes. Leave a white shine in each.
Step 3: Wool and ears
Draw a wool cloud on top of the head. Add a tall banana ear poking out at each top corner.
Tip Put a smaller leaf inside each ear. Give the wool a wavy fringe.
Step 4: The neck
From the chin and the back of the head, draw 2 curved neck lines down right, stopping halfway down.
Tip The neck gets wider toward the body.
Step 5: Fluffy body
Start at the neck. Draw a fluffy cloud body: along the back, round a big bottom, up to the chest.
Tip Little bumps all the way round. The bottom is rounder than the chest.
Step 6: Two legs
Rule the ground. Draw a front leg from the chest and a back leg from the tummy, down to feet.
Tip Each foot is a plump pad with 1 short toe line.
Step 7: Far legs
Draw 2 thin far legs from the tummy to the ground, peeking out beside the front leg and back leg.
Tip Only draw the thin strip you can see. Far feet have no toe lines.
Step 8: The tail
From the top corner of the bottom, draw a short bumpy tuft tail that droops, then back to the body.
Tip Rub out the body line inside the tail.
Step 9: Colour it sand
Go over your lines. Colour the llama sand and the inner ears pink, leaving the eyes white.
