Privacy policy

We don’t collect anything about you

Squigglings is a drawing guide for kids and families. It works without accounts, ads or tracking, so there is nothing to sell. The apps collect nothing at all; the website counts page views anonymously, without cookies. This page says that in a little more detail.

The Squigglings apps (iOS and Android)

  • No data collected. The apps do not ask for your name, email or any other personal information, and they do not collect usage or diagnostic data.
  • Everything is on your device. Every drawing is bundled with the app and works offline. The apps make no network requests of their own.
  • Favourites and progress stay on the device. The drawings you star and the steps you tick off are saved in the app’s local storage only. Deleting the app deletes them.
  • Share and print use the system sheets. When you share or print a finished picture, the app hands an image to your phone or tablet’s built-in share or print sheet; what happens after that is up to you and the app you pick.
  • No ads, no in-app purchases, no third-party SDKs, no links out to the web or other apps.

The website (squigglings.com)

  • No accounts and no cookies set by us; the site is a collection of static pages.
  • Favourites and checked-off steps are kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent anywhere.
  • Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to run the service and keep it secure. We don’t use them to identify or track anyone.

Analytics (website only)

The website uses Google Analytics so we can see, in aggregate, which lessons people visit and which are ignored. It is set up in the most private way Google allows:

  • No cookies, no identifiers. Google’s consent mode is locked to “denied” for every kind of storage, so Analytics never sets a cookie or stores anything in your browser and cannot recognise you from one visit to the next. Pings are sent without an identifier.
  • IP addresses are anonymised before they are stored, and Google Signals, advertising features and ad personalisation are all switched off.
  • Only counts. We look at totals such as “how many people opened the owl lesson this week”. We never see, and do not try to work out, who any individual visitor is.
  • Easy to block. Because nothing is stored, there is no banner to accept or refuse. If you prefer, a content blocker or Google’s own opt-out add-on stops the pings entirely and the site works exactly the same.

The apps contain no analytics of any kind.

Children

Squigglings is made for children and their grown-ups. We collect no personal information from anyone, so we collect none from children either, and the anonymous page counts described above are not linked to any person, young or old.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Last updated: 20 August 2026.
