How to Draw a Chibi Bear
Draw a chibi bear in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Near the top, draw a big wide head with a flat-ish top and fat cheeks low down.
Tip A chibi head is about half of the whole bear.
Step 2: Round ears
On each top corner, draw a round ear behind the head. Add a small circle inside each.
Step 3: Big shiny eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 tall oval eyes. Fill each with a big black dot and 2 shines.
Tip Huge shiny eyes make it chibi.
Step 4: Snout and nose
Under the eyes, draw a wide oval snout. At its top, draw a black rounded triangle nose.
Step 5: Happy smile
From the nose, draw a short line down. Under it, draw a wide U smile inside the snout.
Step 6: Small pear body
Start under one cheek. Draw a small pear body, widest low down, round to the other cheek.
Tip The body is much narrower than the head.
Step 7: Tummy patch
On the body, draw a tall egg for the tummy, from under the chin to near the bottom.
Step 8: Stubby arms
From under each cheek, draw a short fat arm bending in to a round paw on the tummy.
Tip The arm narrows a little at the wrist.
Step 9: Legs and feet
Low on each side, draw a leg out to a big round foot. Add an oval pad on each foot.
Tip The feet point out sideways, so the bear really sits.
Step 10: Stubby tail
On the right side, just above the leg, draw a small round tail behind the body.
Step 11: Ground line
Start left of the feet. Draw a flat ground line under them and stop past the other foot.
Step 12: Tan and pink
Colour the snout, tummy, ear circles and foot pads tan. Add 2 round pink cheeks.
Step 13: Brown fur
Colour the rest of the bear brown, around the tan and pink. Leave the eyes white.
