How to Draw a Red Panda Face
Draw a red panda face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: wide round head.
Step 1: Wide round head
Draw a big wide egg lying on its side for the head.
Tip Make it wider than tall, and the same on both sides.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Draw 2 big egg eyes, wide apart. Add a big black dot and a small shine in each.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 3: Muzzle and nose
Start on the chin line. Draw a round arch up, below the eyes, and back down. Add a black nose.
Tip The arch stands on the bottom of the head.
Step 4: Little smile
Draw a short line down from the nose. Hang 2 small U shapes from it for a smile.
Step 5: Big ears
On each top corner of the head draw a big ear with a rounded tip, leaning out.
Step 6: Inside the ears
Inside each ear draw a smaller ear shape, down to the head line.
Step 7: Brow patches
Above each eye draw a small oval, tilted like a happy eyebrow.
Step 8: Tear stripes
Start under each eye. Draw one line down to the chin line and one down to the muzzle.
Tip A red panda has a dark stripe from each eye to its chin.
Step 9: Fluffy cheeks
Start on the side of each eye. Draw a curved line out to the head line and stop.
Step 10: Rust fur
Colour the top of the head and the middle of each ear rust orange.
Tip Leave the ear edges, brows, cheeks and muzzle white.
Step 11: Dark brown stripes
Colour the 2 tear stripes dark brown. Your panda face is done!
