How to Draw a Kawaii Snow Globe

Draw a kawaii snow globe in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big glass ball.

Step 1: Big glass ball
Near the top, draw a big round circle for the glass ball. Leave room underneath for the base.
Tip Go slowly round. A ball is as tall as it is wide.
Step 2: Soft round base
Over the bottom of the ball, draw a wide base like a bun with a flat bottom.
Tip Rub out the bit of the ball inside the base.
Step 3: Cute face
On the base, draw 2 black oval eyes with white shines. Add a small U smile between them.
Tip Keep the face in the middle of the base.
Step 4: Snow hill
Start at the left edge of the glass. Draw a low snow hill and stop at the right edge.
Tip The hill is highest in the middle.
Step 5: Tiny house
Start on the hill: draw up, across and down, and stop on the hill. Add a small round-topped door.
Step 6: Pointy roof
On top of the walls, draw a big triangle roof that pokes out a little on each side.
Tip Put the point of the roof above the middle of the house.
Step 7: Little tree
Right of the house, start on the hill. Draw a small triangle on a big one. Stop on the hill.
Step 8: Falling snow
Draw 7 small round snow dots in the empty glass, around the house and the tree.
Tip Keep each dot away from the other lines.
Step 9: Shine and ground
In the top right of the glass, draw 1 curved shine line. Draw a ground line under the base.
Step 10: Blue glass
Colour the glass light blue, around the house, the tree and the snow dots. Leave the hill white.
Tip The snow dots and the hill stay white, like real snow.
Step 11: Yellow and red
Colour the walls of the house yellow. Colour the roof and the door red.
Step 12: Green and pink
Colour the tree green. Give the face on the base 2 pink oval cheeks.
Step 13: Colour the base
Colour the base purple, around the eyes and the cheeks. Your kawaii snow globe is done!
