How to Draw a Robot Vacuum
Draw a robot vacuum in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the round top.
Step 1: The round top
In the middle of your paper draw a big wide flat oval, about as wide as your hand.
Tip A flat disc seen from above: much wider than it is tall.
Step 2: The side
From each end of the oval draw a short line down. Join them underneath with a big curve bulging down.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the top draw 2 big egg eyes, close together. Big black dot and a white shine in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye, and a round cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The start button
Near the back of the top, off to the right, draw a small flat oval for the start button.
Step 6: The bumper
Draw a curve along the side, a little above the bottom, from the left edge round to the right edge.
Step 7: The side brush
From under the bottom left of the side, draw 3 short bristles fanning out for the side brush.
Step 8: The floor
Draw a straight floor line under the robot, starting well left of it and stopping well right of it.
Step 9: A little dust
On the floor to the right of the robot, draw 2 little dust circles sitting on the line.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Green button, grey dust
Colour the start button green and the dust circles grey.
Step 12: Slate top, navy side
Colour the top slate around the cheeks and the button, and the side navy. Leave the eyes white.
Tip Your robot vacuum is ready to zoom round the room!
