How to Draw a Stomp Rocket
Draw a stomp rocket in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rocket body.
Step 1: The rocket body
Up on the right of your paper, draw the rocket leaning: a long slanted box pointing up to the right.
Step 2: The nose cone
Start on one top corner. Draw a rounded cone out to a point and curve back to the other corner.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the rocket body, draw 2 big egg eyes with a big black dot in each.
Step 4: The smile
Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile from eye to eye.
Step 5: Two fins
On each side, start a little above the bottom. Slant a fin out past the end, back to the corner.
Step 6: The launch tube
Start under the rocket. Draw a fat tube down the same slant, closed at the end, back to the rocket.
Step 7: The leg
From the bottom of the tube, draw a thin leg straight down to the ground, with a little foot.
Step 8: The stomp pad
On the left, draw the stomp pad lying on the ground: a wide soft cushion with a round top.
Step 9: The hose
Start low on the tube's left side. Draw a bendy hose with two lines, down into the stomp pad.
Step 10: Ground line
Draw a straight ground line under everything, nearly from edge to edge.
Step 11: Sparkles
Draw a few little 4-point sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 12: Pink and yellow
Colour a pink oval cheek below each eye, then the nose cone and fins yellow. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Red and blue
Colour the rocket body red around the eyes and cheeks. Colour the pad, tube, leg and hose blue.
