How to Draw a Bottle
Draw a bottle in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bottle.
Step 1: The bottle
Near the top draw a short narrow neck. Curve out to round shoulders, down straight sides, across a flat bottom.
Tip Like a tall skittle: a narrow neck on wide shoulders.
Step 2: The cap
On top of the neck draw a cap a little wider than the neck, with 2 lines across for ridges.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the bottle, below the shoulders, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, with a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The label
Under the cheeks draw a line across the bottle, and another a thumb above the bottom, for a label band.
Step 6: A drop
In the middle of the label draw a fat teardrop, point up, for the picture on the label.
Step 7: Shine and bubbles
Down the left side draw a short light line from shoulder to eye. Add 2 tiny bubbles top right.
Step 8: The table
Under the bottle draw a table line, starting well left of it and stopping well right of it.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, white label
Go over your lines. Colour the cheeks pink and leave the label white.
Step 10: Sky water
Colour the bottle and drop sky blue, around the cheeks and label. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Red cap
Colour the cap red, and your water bottle is done!
