How to Draw a Kawaii Fox

Draw a kawaii fox in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: huge head.

Step 1: Huge head
Draw a big wide head like a soft bun. Give each cheek one little fluffy point.
Tip Make the head fill most of the top of your paper.
Step 2: Pointed ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a big pointed ear. Draw a smaller ear shape inside it.
Tip Lean the ears out a little, like a real fox.
Step 3: Big shiny eyes
In the middle of the head, draw 2 big ovals. Colour them black, leaving 2 white shines in each.
Tip Put the big shine at the top right of both eyes.
Step 4: Nose and smile
Below and between the eyes, draw a tiny black nose. Add a little W smile under it.
Tip Keep the nose and mouth tiny. Small features on a big head look cute.
Step 5: Cheek fluff
Start at each cheek point. Draw a low hill under the eye and stop at the nose.
Step 6: Tiny body
Start under the head. Draw a small bell body down to a flat bottom, and back up.
Tip Keep the body much narrower than the head.
Step 7: Chest fluff
Start under the chin. Draw a wide U on the chest that ends in a soft point.
Step 8: Front paws
From the chest fluff, draw 2 short legs down to round paws. Add 2 toe lines on each.
Step 9: Curly tail
Start low on the right of the body. Draw a fat tail along the ground, curling up to a tip.
Tip A fat tail looks fluffy, so make it as wide as the body.
Step 10: Tail tip and ground
Draw a curved line across the tail near its tip. Draw a long ground line under your fox.
Step 11: Pink cheeks and ears
Colour a pink oval on each cheek, under the eyes. Colour the insides of the ears pink.
Step 12: Orange fur
Colour the fur orange. Leave the cheek fluff, chest and tail tip white. Your kawaii fox is done!
