How to Draw a Kawaii Dinosaur
Draw a kawaii dinosaur in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: wide head.
Step 1: Wide head
Near the top left, draw a big wide head like a smooth pebble, a little fatter at the bottom.
Tip A big head on a small body looks cute.
Step 2: Sparkly eyes
In the middle of the head, draw 2 tall ovals. Colour them black, leaving 2 white shines in each.
Step 3: Happy mouth
Between the eyes, a little lower, draw a tiny open smile: a short line with a U under it.
Step 4: Neck, back, tail
Start behind the head. Draw down the long neck, over the round back, along the tail. Stop at its tip.
Tip The long neck is what makes it this dinosaur.
Step 5: Chest and tummy
Start under the chin. Draw down the chest, along the tummy and out under the tail. Stop at the tip.
Step 6: 2 fat legs
Under the tummy, draw a fat front leg and a fat back leg, with wide flat feet.
Step 7: Far legs
Draw 2 more legs peeking out behind them. Draw a long ground line under all 4 feet.
Step 8: Tummy line
Start on the chest. Draw a long curve along the tummy. Stop under the tail.
Step 9: Round spots
On the back, draw 3 round spots, from big to small.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour a pink oval on each cheek. Colour inside the mouth pink.
Step 11: Yellow spots, cream tummy
Colour the 3 spots yellow. Colour the tummy under the line cream.
Step 12: Green dinosaur
Colour the head, neck, body, tail and legs green, around the spots and the tummy.
