How to Draw a Kawaii Arctic Fox

Step 1: Big fluffy head

Draw a big wide head. Give each cheek a soft fluffy point, then curve in to a small chin.

Tip Keep the head a little to the left, so there is room for the tail.

Step 2: Pointed ears

On each top corner of the head draw a short pointed ear. Draw a smaller ear shape inside each.

Tip Arctic fox ears are short, with soft round tips.

Step 3: Big eyes

Below the middle of the head draw 2 big oval eyes. Add a black oval inside each.

Tip Leave 2 white shines in each black oval.

Step 4: Nose and smile

Between the eyes, a little lower, draw a small black oval nose. Add a little w smile under it.

Step 5: Fluffy chest

Start under one cheek. Draw 3 soft fur bumps under the chin and stop under the other cheek.

Tip Make the middle bump the lowest.

Step 6: Front legs

From the chest fur draw 2 legs straight down to round paws. Add 2 toe lines on each paw.

Tip Leave a small gap between the paws.

Step 7: Back foot

Beside the left paw draw a bun foot poking out. Add 2 toe lines on it.

Tip The other back foot hides behind the tail.

Step 8: Round body

Start under each cheek. Draw the left side down to the foot. Draw the right side shorter and stop.

Tip The tail will start where the short line stops.

Step 9: Bushy tail

From the short line draw a curled tail: 3 fluffy bumps outside, a smooth curve inside, tip at the paw.

Tip The tail is fattest on the right and lies on the ground.

Step 10: Snow bank

Draw a straight ground line under the fox. Close it into a long snow bank. Add 2 round snowflakes.

Step 11: Pink and yellow

Colour the ear middles pink. Add 2 pink cheek ovals. Colour the eyes yellow around the black.

Step 12: White fox, blue snow

Colour the snow bank pale blue. Leave your arctic fox snowy white, or colour it white!
