How to Draw a Chibi Chicken
Draw a chibi chicken in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg head.
Step 1: Big egg head
Near the top, draw a big egg head, a little wider at the bottom.
Tip A chibi head is bigger than the body.
Step 2: Bumpy comb
On top of the head, draw 3 round bumps for the hen's comb, the middle one tallest.
Tip A hen has a small comb. A rooster's is much bigger.
Step 3: Big shiny eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 big round eyes. Inside each, colour a big black dot with 2 white shines.
Tip Leave a thin white ring round each eye.
Step 4: Little beak
Between the eyes, a little lower, draw a small diamond beak. Draw a smile line across it.
Step 5: Wobbly wattle
Under the beak, draw 2 small teardrops hanging down, side by side.
Step 6: Small egg body
Under the head, draw a small egg body. It hides behind the chin.
Tip Keep the body much smaller than the head.
Step 7: Small wings
On each side of the body, draw a small round wing pointing down. Add 2 feather lines.
Step 8: Tail feathers
Behind the right wing, draw 3 round tail feathers in a small fan. They hide behind the body.
Step 9: Two feet
Under the body, draw 2 short legs. Give each foot 3 round toes.
Step 10: Ground line
Start left of the feet. Draw a flat ground line under them and stop on the right.
Step 11: Yellow and pink
Colour the beak and the 2 feet yellow. Colour 2 round cheeks pink.
Step 12: Cream feathers
Colour the head and body cream, around the eyes, beak and cheeks. Leave the wings, tail and wattle white.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Light brown wings
Colour the 2 wings and the 3 tail feathers light brown.
Step 14: Red comb
Colour the comb and the wattle red. Your chibi hen is done!
