How to Draw an Arctic Fox
Draw an Arctic fox in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: fluffy round head.
Step 1: Fluffy round head
Near the top, draw a big round head with 2 soft fur tufts on each side and a round chin.
Step 2: Small pointy ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a pointy ear with a round tip and a smaller one inside.
Tip Arctic foxes have short ears to keep the cold out.
Step 3: Big eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 big round eyes, an eye apart. Add a black dot and shine in each.
Step 4: Snout and nose
Under the eyes, draw a short round snout above the chin. Add a black triangle nose and a w smile.
Step 5: Chest
Start under each fur tuft. Draw a short C down for the chest and stop a hand below the chin.
Step 6: Ground and back legs
Draw a ground line below the chest. From each chest line, draw a fat C leg down to the ground.
Step 7: Front legs
Draw a chest rainbow. From each end, draw a leg to a mitten paw. Join the legs with an arch.
Tip The paw is a mitten, wider than the leg. The arch sits just above the paws.
Step 8: Back paws
Start low on each back leg. Draw a bun hump in toward the middle and stop on the front paw.
Step 9: Big bushy tail
From the right back leg, draw a fat tail up to a round tip and back down to the leg.
Tip The tail reaches up as high as the fur tufts.
Step 10: Colour it white
Go over your lines. Colour the fox white, but not the snout, chest or ear insides. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Peach ears, cream snout
Colour the ear insides peach. Colour the snout and the chest cream so the fox shows up.
