How to Draw a Chibi Zombie

Step 1: Big square head

Near the top, draw a big head like a loaf of bread: flat on top and wider at the bottom.

Tip A chibi head is as tall as the whole body.

Step 2: Huge round eyes

Below the middle of the head, draw 2 big round eyes. Add a black pupil and a white shine.

Tip Leave a gap one eye wide between the eyes.

Step 3: Silly smile

Under the eyes draw a wide, lopsided open grin. Hang one square tooth from its top line.

Tip One tooth and a big smile make a friendly zombie.

Step 4: Ears and hair

Draw a small round ear on each side of the head. Add 3 pointed tufts of hair on top.

Step 5: Forehead stitch

Above one eye draw a short line. Start near the middle, stop near the edge. Cross it with 3 stitches.

Step 6: Ragged shirt

Under the chin draw a small shirt with a zigzag bottom edge. Add a square patch on it.

Tip The body is much smaller than the head.

Step 7: Arms held out

From each shoulder draw a short sleeve. Then draw an arm reaching straight out to the side.

Tip Zombies walk with their arms out!

Step 8: Floppy hands

At the end of each arm draw a mitten hand that hangs down, with a small round thumb.

Step 9: Shorts and legs

Under the shirt draw shorts with 2 leg holes. Draw a short leg down from each one.

Step 10: Shoes and ground

Under each leg draw a round shoe. Then draw a ground line under both shoes.

Step 11: Yellow and blue

Colour the patch yellow. Colour the shirt and its sleeves light blue around the patch.

Step 12: Green skin

Colour the face, ears, arms, hands and legs light green. Leave the eyes and the tooth white.

Step 13: Red and brown

Colour the mouth red around the tooth. Colour both shoes brown.

Step 14: Dark blue last

Colour the hair tufts and the shorts dark blue. Your chibi zombie is done!
