How to Draw a Zombie
Draw a zombie in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body.
Step 2: Face and stitches
Draw 2 big eyes, a nose, a smile and eyebrows. Add a short scar with 3 stitches on one cheek.
Step 3: Messy hair
Start by the left eyebrow. Draw big messy tufts over the top of the head, down to the right.
Step 4: Neck and torn shirt
Draw 2 neck lines under the chin. From the left one draw a torn shirt over to the right one.
Step 5: Arms held out
From each sleeve draw 2 lines out to the side, bending at the elbow and stopping at the wrist.
Step 6: Mitten hands
On each arm draw a mitten hand. Start at the wrist, round the fingers, back to the wrist.
Step 7: Trousers and patch
Start at the bottom left of the shirt. Draw 2 trouser legs down to the ankles. Add a knee patch.
Step 8: Shoes and ground
From each leg draw 2 short ankle lines down to a shoe, toe pointing out. Add a ground line.
Step 9: Green zombie skin
Colour the face, neck, arms, hands and ankles green, leaving the eyes white.
Step 10: Purple shirt
Colour the torn shirt purple.
Step 11: Grey trousers
Colour the trousers dark grey around the white patch. Colour the hair and shoes brown. Your zombie is done!

Your finished drawing
