How to Draw an Angry Face
Draw an angry face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg head.
Step 1: Big egg head
Near the top of your paper draw a big soft egg head. Make the chin a bit narrower.
Tip Make it big, about two thirds of the page tall.
Step 2: Two ears
Start on the side of the head below the middle. Draw a C ear, stop on the head. Do both.
Step 3: Big eyes
Below the middle of the head draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Angry eyebrows
Above each eye draw a straight eyebrow that slants down toward the nose. Leave a gap above the eye.
Tip Slanting down toward the middle makes the face look cross.
Step 5: Nose and grumpy mouth
Between the eyes draw a tiny U nose. Lower down draw an upside-down curve for the grumpy mouth.
Step 6: Hair cap
Start on the head above the left ear. Draw 5 soft round bumps over the top, stop above the right ear.
Tip Soft bumps like little clouds, not spikes.
Step 7: Hairline
Start at the same left point. Curve across the forehead above the eyebrows and stop at the right point.
Step 8: Neck and shirt
Under the chin draw 2 short neck lines. Draw a shoulder sloping down from each. Add a U collar.
Step 9: Peach skin, red cheeks
Colour the face, ears and neck peach, around 2 cheek circles. Colour the cheeks red. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Red shirt
Colour the shirt red.
Step 11: Black hair
Colour the hair black. Go over your lines and your angry face is done.

Your finished drawing
