How to Draw a Baby Cupid
Draw a baby Cupid in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big head.
Step 1: Big head
Draw a big round head with a small round ear on each side.
Tip Make the cheeks the widest part of the head.
Step 2: Happy face
Just below the middle of the head draw 2 oval eyes with black dots, a tiny nose and a smile.
Tip Leave a tiny white shine in each black dot.
Step 3: Round tummy
Under the head draw a round tummy like a pear, wider at the bottom.
Tip The tummy is smaller than the head.
Step 4: One curl
Start on the top of the head. Draw 1 curl of hair that loops round and stops in the air.
Step 5: The nappy
Start on the left side of the tummy. Draw a sagging line across and stop on the right side.
Tip Everything below the line is the nappy.
Step 6: Chubby arms
From each shoulder draw a chubby arm that bends down and out. End each arm in a round fist.
Tip Each arm gets thinner towards the wrist.
Step 7: Chubby legs
From the nappy draw 2 chubby legs hanging down. End each in a round foot pointing out.
Tip No ground line: the baby is floating.
Step 8: Little wings
Behind each shoulder draw a small wing going up and out, with 3 round feather bumps on the outside.
Tip Both wings match, like a mirror.
Step 9: Tiny bow
Behind the left fist draw a thick curved bow like a C. Join its 2 tips with a straight string.
Tip The fist hides the middle of the bow and the string.
Step 10: Heart arrow
Through the right fist draw 1 straight arrow. Put a heart on top and a feather shape at the bottom.
Step 11: Floating hearts
Draw 2 hearts floating in the air, 1 in each top corner.
Tip Both hearts are the same size.
Step 12: Pink and peach
Go over your lines. Colour 2 pink cheeks, then all the skin peach. Leave the eyes, nappy and wings white.
Step 13: Red hearts
Colour the 2 floating hearts, the heart on the arrow and its feather red.
Step 14: Brown bow
Colour the bow and the arrow brown. Your baby cupid is done!
