How to Draw a Human Body
Draw a human body in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: head and ears.
Step 1: Head and ears
Near the top draw a big egg head. Add a C ear on each side, joined to the head.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body.
Step 2: A friendly face
Low on the head draw 2 round eyes with black dots and shines. Add a U smile underneath.
Tip Keep the top half of the head empty for the brain.
Step 3: Neck and arms
Each side: from the chin draw the neck, shoulder and arm, round a mitten hand and up to the armpit.
Tip The arm gets thinner towards the wrist. The little thumb points in.
Step 4: Body and legs
From each armpit draw down the side, round a leg and foot, and up to meet in the middle.
Tip The feet point out a little and are flat underneath.
Step 5: Shorts and floor
For shorts, draw lines from side to side at the waist and across each leg. Finish with a floor line.
Step 6: The brain
In the top of the head draw a bumpy cloud for the brain. Add a wiggly line down its middle.
Step 7: The heart
In the middle of the chest, a little to the right, draw a small heart.
Step 8: Two lungs
Draw a lung each side of the heart, round on top, wide below. The right one tucks behind the heart.
Step 9: The stomach
Under the heart, on the right, draw a fat bean with a little tail pointing left: the stomach.
Step 10: The intestines
Across the tummy draw a long pillow shape. Inside it draw one wiggly line going right, left and right again.
Step 11: Peach skin
Colour the skin peach, going round the brain and all the shapes in the body. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow and orange
Colour the long intestines yellow and the stomach orange.
Step 13: Pink brain and lungs
Colour the brain and both lungs pink.
Step 14: Red heart, blue shorts
Colour the heart red and the shorts blue. Go over your lines and your human body is done!
