How to Draw Cupid
Draw Cupid in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room beside the head for the wings and a raised arm.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle of the head draw 2 small eyes with black dots. Add a U nose and a smile.
Step 3: Curly hair
Start on the left side of the head. Draw big round curls over the top, down to the right side.
Step 4: Neck and toga
Start under the chin with 2 neck lines. Draw a short toga with one sleeve, slanting down to the right.
Step 5: Little wings
Behind each shoulder draw a small wing pointing up and out, with 3 soft feather bumps on the outside.
Step 6: Two arms
From each shoulder draw an arm with a soft elbow, stopping at the wrist. Left arm down, right arm up.
Step 7: Fists
On each wrist draw a round fist like a fat egg, with a thumb bump and a curved finger line.
Step 8: Bow
Draw a thick curved bow with the left fist holding its middle. Join the two tips with a straight string.
Step 9: Heart arrow
Start below the raised hand and draw a line up to well above it. Add a heart and feathers.
Step 10: Legs and feet
From the hem draw 2 legs down to thin ankles. Add bare feet with round heels, and a ground line.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour 2 pink cheeks, then the skin peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow curls
Colour the curls yellow. Leave the toga and the wings white.
Step 13: Red heart, wood bow
Colour the heart and the feathers red, and the bow wood brown. Go over your lines to finish.
