How to Draw Hercules
Draw Hercules in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: head and ears.
Step 1: Head and ears
Near the top draw an egg for the head. From each side draw a C ear, back to the head.
Tip Leave room on the right for a big club.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 round eyes with black dots and shines, in the middle. Add a U nose and a big smile.
Step 3: Curly hair and band
Draw a band above the eyes. From beside one eye draw curly hair over the top to the other eye.
Step 4: Neck and tunic
From the chin draw 2 neck lines down to a tunic: wide shoulders, a narrow waist and a short skirt.
Tip The top dips into a small V between the neck lines.
Step 5: Lion skin
Start at the V. Draw 3 fur bumps slanting down across the chest. Stop on the side at the waist.
Tip The lion skin hangs over one shoulder.
Step 6: Belt and paw
Draw 2 belt lines across the waist, edge to edge. Under the belt, hang a lion paw with 3 toes.
Step 7: Strong arms
From each shoulder draw 2 arm lines. One arm hangs down to the wrist. The other bends out and up.
Tip Make each arm fat at the shoulder and thinner at the wrist.
Step 8: Fists
From one hanging arm line draw a hand with a thumb to meet the other. Add a round fist above.
Tip The fist sits on the end of the raised arm.
Step 9: Big club
Standing in the fist draw a big club: thin at the bottom, fat and round on top. Add 2 knots.
Tip The bottom of the club hides inside the fist.
Step 10: Strong legs
From under the skirt draw 2 legs. Each has a soft knee, a round calf and a thin ankle.
Step 11: Sandals and ground
Under each ankle draw a sandal with the toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under them.
Step 12: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour pink cheeks, then the face, ears, neck, arms, fists and legs peach.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Cream tunic, gold band
Colour the tunic cream: the plain side of the chest and the skirt, around the paw. Colour the headband yellow.
Step 14: Lion skin and club
Colour the lion skin and paw ginger orange. Colour the hair, belt, club and sandals brown. Hercules is done!
