How to Draw a Yoga Tree Pose
Draw a yoga tree pose in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
A little below the top, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room above the head for the hands.
Step 2: The face
Below the head's middle, draw 2 round eyes with dots. Add a tiny nose, a calm smile and eyebrows.
Step 3: Soft hair cap
Start on the left of the head, by the eyebrows. Draw soft tufts over the head, down to the right.
Step 4: Neck, top, shorts
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one, draw a top with sleeves, stopping at the right one. Add shorts.
Step 5: Arms reaching up
From each sleeve, draw an arm up beside the head. Bend it in at the elbow, stopping above the head.
Step 6: Hands together
Where the arms meet above the head, draw a tall pointed flame shape for the hands, with a middle line.
Step 7: Standing leg
From the right leg of the shorts, draw 2 lines straight down, close together, stopping a little above the bottom.
Step 8: Bent leg
From the shorts, draw a thigh to a round knee, then a shin and foot back to the standing leg.
Tip This is tree pose, so the foot rests flat against the standing leg.
Step 9: Foot and mat
Under the standing leg, draw a foot with a round heel and toe. Under it, draw a long flat mat.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, arms, hands and legs peach, with a pink circle on each cheek. Keep the eyes white.
Step 11: Blue top, green mat
Colour the top blue and the mat green.
Step 12: Brown hair, navy shorts
Colour the hair brown and the shorts navy. Go over your lines and your yoga pose is done!
