How to Draw a Yeti
Draw a yeti in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw a big head like an egg on its side, with fat round cheeks.
Tip Make it almost half the whole yeti.
Step 2: Face patch
Inside the head draw a big egg face patch, leaving a band of fur all round it.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Just below the middle of the head draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Little round nose
Under the eyes draw a small round nose, half as big as an eye, and colour it black.
Step 5: Smile and fangs
Under the nose draw a wide smile, from under one eye to under the other, with 2 tiny fangs.
Step 6: Round ears
On each top corner draw a round ear, starting and stopping on the head, with a curve inside.
Step 7: Fur tufts
Between the ears draw 3 soft fur bumps, starting and ending on the head. Add 3 bumps on each cheek.
Tip Keep the bumps small and round, like a cloud edge.
Step 8: Belly and tummy patch
Start under the left cheek. Draw a big pear body, stopping under the right cheek. Add a tummy patch.
Tip The body is narrower than the head.
Step 9: Arms and mittens
Start under each cheek. Draw a fat sausage arm down the side, bending in to a mitten on the tummy.
Step 10: Hips and feet
On each side of the belly draw a round C hip swinging out. Under it draw a fat flat foot.
Step 11: Elbow fur and ground
On each elbow draw 3 soft fur bumps, starting and ending on the arm. Draw a ground line.
Step 12: White fur, blue face
Go over your lines. Colour the face patch and tummy patch icy sky blue. Leave the fur and eyes white.
