How to Draw a Werewolf Howling
Draw a werewolf howling in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top draw a big round head with a thick snout pointing up to the right.
Tip Keep the snout thick with a round end. Add 3 soft fur bumps under the cheek.
Step 2: Pointy ear
On top of the head draw one tall pointy ear. Add a smaller triangle inside.
Step 3: Big eye and nose
Where the skull meets the snout draw one big round eye. Colour a black nose on the snout tip.
Step 4: Howling mouth
Under the snout draw an open lower jaw. Colour the mouth black, add a tongue and 3 howl lines.
Step 5: The body
Start under the chin. Draw round shoulders and a C down each side. Join the bottoms with a wavy line.
Step 6: Torn shirt
Draw a ragged shirt hem across the body, the shorts go below it. Add a torn sleeve on each shoulder.
Step 7: Arms down
From each sleeve draw an arm down to a soft elbow, then a thin wrist, and back to the sleeve.
Step 8: Claw paws
On each wrist draw a plump mitten paw with 3 finger bumps. Hang a short rounded claw under each bump.
Step 9: Legs and paws
From the bottom line draw 2 long legs spread wide, down to big paws with 3 toe bumps.
Step 10: Tail and moon
Behind the arm draw a thick S tail up to a round tip. Add a full moon and the ground.
Step 11: Pink ear, yellow moon
Colour the inside of the ear pink and the moon yellow.
Step 12: Dark grey fur
Colour the head, ear, arms, paws, legs and tail dark grey around the pink. Leave the eye and claws white.
Step 13: Purple shirt
Colour the shirt and sleeves purple. Colour the shorts under the hem dark blue.
