How to Draw Water Wings
Draw water wings in 14 steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
A little above the middle of your paper draw a round head, about as big as a plum.
Step 2: The hair
Start low on the left of the head. Draw a curved hairline over the forehead, ending low on the right.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Halfway down the head draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Add a dot with a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat cheek on each side, inside the face.
Step 5: Neck and shoulders
Start at the chin. Draw a short wide neck that curves out into a shoulder on each side.
Step 6: Two arms up
From each shoulder draw out to an elbow, up to the wrist, then back down, stopping low on the body.
Step 7: Arm bands
Round the middle of each upper arm draw a fat pillow band, wider than the arm, with a line across.
Step 8: Mitten hands
Start at each wrist. Draw a mitten hand pointing up, with a round thumb, back to the wrist.
Step 9: The swimsuit
Start on one shoulder. Draw a U neckline across to the other. Add a line where each arm joins.
Step 10: The water
Start near the left edge. Draw a wavy line of bumps across the body, stopping near the right edge.
Step 11: Splash drops
Draw a little teardrop splash out beside each arm, pointy end up.
Step 12: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Colour the cheeks pink, then the face, neck, arms and hands peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Blue water, orange bands
Colour the water and the splash drops sky blue, and the arm bands orange.
Step 14: Red swimsuit, brown hair
Colour the swimsuit red and the hair brown. Your water wings are done!
