How to Draw Selling Lemonade
Draw selling lemonade in 15 steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip A little smaller and lower than usual: there is a sign overhead.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 big round eyes with dots and shines. Add a U nose, a smile and eyebrows.
Step 3: Hair and pigtails
Start on the left of the head. Draw hair over the top, down to the right. Add fringe and pigtails.
Step 4: Neck and T-shirt
Draw 2 neck lines down from the chin. Draw a T-shirt with short sleeves, starting and stopping at the neck.
Step 5: Arms
Start at each sleeve. Draw an arm down to the elbow, then in across the tummy, stopping at the wrist.
Tip The left fist holds the jug; the right holds a cup.
Step 6: Hands
On each wrist draw a fist pointing in: a fat egg with a thumb bump and a curved finger line.
Step 7: The jug
Draw a jug. Start the handle on the jug and stop inside the left fist. Add a lemonade line across.
Tip The handle ends behind the fist, so she grips it.
Step 8: Lemonade stand
Draw a counter at tummy height. From its ends draw a box down to the ground, split in 3.
Tip The stand hides the legs: no legs to draw. The 2 lines run from the counter to the ground.
Step 9: Posts
Start on the counter near each end. Draw a post up past the head and back down to the counter.
Step 10: Sign and lemons
On top of the posts draw a long sign. Inside draw 2 lemons with pointy ends, each with a leaf.
Step 11: Cups
Draw a cup in the right fist, and a cup on each end of the counter.
Tip Make each cup a little wider at the top.
Step 12: Yellow lemonade and stand
Colour the lemonade, the lemons, the counter and the side panels yellow.
Step 13: Peach skin
Colour the face, neck, arms and hands peach. Leave the eyes white.
Step 14: Pink T-shirt, green leaves
Colour the T-shirt pink, around the arms, jug and cup. Colour the lemon leaves green.
Step 15: Red and brown
Colour the sign around the lemons, the posts and the middle panel red. Colour the hair and pigtails brown.
