How to Draw a Pet Groomer

13 steps · Tricky · about 10 min

Draw a pet groomer in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Print

  1. Step 1: The head

Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, narrower at the chin, left of the middle.

Tip The dog sits on a table at the right.

  2. Step 2: The face

Below the middle of the head draw 2 round eyes with a tiny eyelash. Add a nose and a smile.

  3. Step 3: Hair and ponytail

Start on the left of the head above the eyes. Draw hair over to the right. Add a ponytail.

  4. Step 4: Neck, T-shirt and apron

Draw 2 neck lines, then a T-shirt from one line round to the other. Add an apron, straps and ties.

Tip The straps go up to the neck and the ties go out to the sides.

  5. Step 5: Arms

From the left sleeve draw an arm hanging down to the wrist. From the right sleeve draw an arm out.

Tip The right fist will grip the hair dryer.

  6. Step 6: Hands

On the left wrist draw a round hand with a thumb bump. On the right wrist draw a fist.

  7. Step 7: Hair dryer

Start behind the right fist and draw a handle up to a fat tube lying across. Add 3 air lines.

  8. Step 8: Table and sitting dog

On the right draw a table: a box, 2 legs from it down to the ground. Add a sitting dog.

  9. Step 9: Dog's face and fluff

Give the dog a dark eye, a black nose and a smile. Draw 2 fluff puffs in the warm air.

  10. Step 10: Trousers and shoes

Start at the left end of the shirt. Draw trousers: down, across, up between the legs, back to the shirt.

  11. Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks

Colour the face, neck, arms and hands peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

  12. Step 12: Yellow top, pink dryer

Colour the T-shirt yellow and the hair dryer pink.

Tip Leave the dog and the shoes white.

  13. Step 13: Purple apron, brown hair

Colour the apron, straps, ties and collar purple, leaving the pocket white. Colour the hair, table and trousers brown.

Tip Go over your lines and you are done.
