How to Draw a Warning Sign
Draw a warning sign in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the triangle.
Step 1: The triangle
In the middle draw one big triangle, point at the top and flat bottom, with soft rounded corners.
Tip Make it big: the sign is the whole drawing.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
In the middle of the triangle draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: A big smile
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a small oval cheek beside each end of the smile.
Step 4: The inner line
Inside the triangle draw a second smaller triangle, the same small distance in from the edge all round.
Step 5: The exclamation mark
Under the smile draw a short fat bar narrowing at the bottom, and a dot under it: an exclamation mark.
Step 6: Sparkles
Draw 4 small sparkle stars, 2 on each side of the sign, one high and one low.
Step 7: Floor and shadow
Draw a long floor line under the sign, from left to right, and a flat oval shadow round its bottom.
Step 8: Yellow sign
Go over your lines. Colour the inside triangle and the 4 sparkles yellow, around the face and the mark.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, grey shadow
Colour the 2 cheeks pink and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Black border and mark
Colour the border between the 2 triangle lines black, and the exclamation mark black.

Your finished drawing
