How to Draw Chopsticks
Draw chopsticks in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bowl rim.
Step 1: The bowl rim
Just above the middle, a little right, draw a flat oval, about as wide as your hand.
Step 2: The bowl
From the left end of the oval draw a big U down to the right end. Add a flat foot.
Tip The bowl is wide and not too deep, like a cereal bowl.
Step 3: A mound of rice
On the rim draw a round dome of soft bumps, from one end of the oval to the other.
Step 4: The first chopstick
Start left of the bowl. Draw a long stick across the bottom of the rice, stopping past the right rim.
Tip Fatter at the back end, thinner at the tip.
Step 5: The second chopstick
Draw a second stick just under the first, side by side, with a thin gap between them.
Step 6: Bands
Near the thick end of each chopstick draw a short band across it, like a little rectangle.
Step 7: The table
Draw a table line under the bowl from left to right, just touching the bottom of the foot.
Step 8: Wood chopsticks
Go over your lines, then colour both chopsticks wood brown, leaving the bands white for now.
Step 9: Red bands
Colour the little band on each chopstick red.
Step 10: Blue bowl, white rice
Colour the bowl blue and leave the rice white, and your chopsticks are done!
