How to Draw a Stuffed Cat
Draw a stuffed cat in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big head.
Step 1: Big head
Near the top of your paper, draw a big head, wider than tall, with fat round cheeks.
Tip The head is almost half of the whole cat.
Step 2: Pointy ears
On each side of the top of the head, draw a pointy triangle ear with a smaller triangle inside.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the middle of the head, draw 2 big round eyes close together. Colour black dots with white shines.
Step 4: Nose patch
Under the eyes, draw an oval that pokes just past the chin. Near its top, draw a little triangle nose.
Step 5: Smile and whiskers
From the nose, draw a line down, stopping at a W smile. Add 2 whiskers out from each side.
Step 6: Round belly
Start under the left cheek. Draw a big pear body, back up to the right cheek. Add a tummy patch.
Tip The body is narrower than the head.
Step 7: Hugging arms
Start under each cheek. Draw a fat sausage arm down, bending in to a round mitten beside the tummy patch.
Tip The tummy patch peeks out between the mittens.
Step 8: Back legs and feet
Start halfway down each side of the belly. Draw a round C leg out, with a flat foot under it.
Step 9: Toes and ground
On the end of each foot, draw 2 short toe lines. Then draw a ground line under both feet.
Step 10: Curly tail
Start behind the right foot. Draw a fat tail up the side, curling over and thinning to a round tip.
Tip Make the curl a loose loop, not a tight scribble.
Step 11: Seam and bow
Draw a seam from the head top to above the eyes, with 2 stitches. Add a bow under the chin.
Step 12: Cream tummy, pink bow
Colour the nose patch, tummy patch and feet cream. Colour the nose, inner ears and bow pink.
Step 13: Ginger fur
Go over your lines. Colour the cat ginger, around the patches, bow, feet and inner ears. Leave the eyes white.
