How to Draw a Wallet
Draw a wallet in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the wallet.
Step 1: The wallet
In the middle of your paper draw a wide box with soft corners, a little wider than it is tall.
Tip Like a fat book lying on its side.
Step 2: The flap
Start on the left side, below the top. Draw a shallow U across and stop on the right side.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Under the flap draw 2 big egg eyes. Add a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The snap
On the lowest part of the flap draw a small round snap button, half on the flap and half below.
Step 6: Cards peeking out
Above the flap on the left draw 2 card boxes poking out. Add a stripe on the taller one.
Step 7: Stitching
Along the bottom edge of the wallet draw a row of short dashes for the stitching.
Step 8: Stack of coins
Right of the wallet draw a flat coin. Under it draw another from one side across to the other.
Step 9: Ground and sparkles
Draw a ground line under the wallet, left to right. Add a sparkle star up on each side.
Step 10: Tan flap, yellow coins
Colour the flap tan, and the coins, snap and sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Sky cards, pink cheeks
Colour the cards sky blue and the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Brown wallet
Colour the wallet brown around the flap, snap and cheeks, leaving the eyes white. Your wallet is done!
