How to Draw a Pogo Ball
Draw a pogo ball in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ball.
Step 1: The ball
In the middle, start at the top. Draw a round ball with a little flat bottom, stop where you began.
Tip Make it as big as a grapefruit, but leave room each side for a wide ring.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
On the top half draw 2 big egg eyes, an eye apart. Add a black dot and shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek each side of it.
Step 4: Middle line
Start at the ball's left side, halfway down. Draw a gentle curve across to its right side.
Tip This is where the ring goes round the ball.
Step 5: Front of the ring
Level with the middle line, start far left. Draw a wide flat curve under it, stop far right.
Step 6: Back of the ring
From each end of the wide curve, draw a small curve up to the side of the ball.
Step 7: Thick edge
Start at the left end. Go down a little, curve under the ring, then up to the right end.
Tip Rub out the ball's line inside the ring, so the ring goes round the ball.
Step 8: 2 foot pads
On the ring each side of the ball, draw a flat oval foot pad. Add 3 short grip lines inside.
Step 9: Ground line
Start below the ring's left side. Draw a ground line along the ball's flat bottom, stop below its right side.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Sky top, grey pads
Colour the flat top of the ring sky blue, leaving the pads. Colour the pads grey.
Step 12: Blue edge
Colour the thick edge of the ring blue.
Step 13: Purple ball
Go over your lines. Colour the ball purple around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
