How to Draw a Stethoscope
Draw a stethoscope in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two ear tubes.
Step 1: Two ear tubes
Start 2 tubes near the top, one each side. Curve them in to meet in the middle, like a big U.
Step 2: The chest piece
At the bottom right, a hand below where the tubes meet, draw a fist-sized circle with a ring inside.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Inside the ring, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes with a black dot and white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Draw a wide U smile under the eyes. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end, inside the ring.
Step 5: Ear tips
On the top end of each tube, draw a small tilted oval for the soft ear tip.
Step 6: The join
Where the 2 tubes meet, draw a small circle for the join.
Step 7: The long tube
From the join, draw 1 thick tube swinging down left in a big loop, stopping at the chest piece.
Step 8: The ground
Draw a ground line across the paper, touching the bottom of the chest piece.
Step 9: Three sparkles
Draw 3 small sparkle stars around the stethoscope, not touching it.
Step 10: Pink and yellow
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Grey chest piece
Colour the chest piece's outer ring grey and the ear tips dark grey. Leave the face and eyes white.
Step 12: Navy tubes
Last, colour all 3 tubes and the join navy blue. Your stethoscope is ready for check-ups!
