How to Draw a Wafer

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a wafer in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a long bar.

Print

  1. Step 1: A long bar

For a long bar, start top right. Go left, slant down a little, go down and round, stop bottom right.

  2. Step 2: Snapped end

Start at the top right end and draw a bumpy zigzag down to the bottom end, where it snapped.

  3. Step 3: The top edge

Start at the left corner. Draw a straight line across to the zigzag, the front edge of the top.

  4. Step 4: Two fat stripes

Across the front draw 2 fat stripes, 2 lines each, from the left side to the zigzag. Space them evenly.

  5. Step 5: Along the top

On the top draw 1 line from the left edge to the zigzag, a little nearer the back.

  6. Step 6: Waffle squares

Draw 5 short lines from the back edge to the front edge, fanning out a little, for waffle squares.

  7. Step 7: The table

Draw a long straight line under the wafer, from far left to far right, for the table.

  8. Step 8: Crumbs

On the table beside the zigzag, draw 2 small lumpy crumbs, one bigger than the other.

  9. Step 9: Cream stripes

Go over your lines, then colour the 2 fat stripes cream.

  10. Step 10: Sand top

    Colour the waffle top sand.

  11. Step 11: Tan wafer

Colour the 3 wafer layers and the crumbs tan, around the cream. Your wafer is done!
