How to Draw a Pudding

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a pudding in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cup.

Print

  1. Step 1: The cup

Start on the left, near the middle. Draw a cup down, along and up, stopping level with the start.

  2. Step 2: The rim

Join the 2 top corners with a wide flat oval for the rim.

  3. Step 3: The pudding

Just under the front of the rim, draw a curve the same shape from side to side.

  4. Step 4: Whipped cream

Inside the rim, draw a small cream dollop of 3 soft bumps stacked up, each smaller than the one below.

Tip Keep the dollop small so the brown pudding shows around it.

  5. Step 5: A cherry

On the top of the cream draw a round cherry with a short curly stem and a little leaf.

  6. Step 6: A wafer

Poking out of the cream on the right, draw a thin wafer stick leaning out.

  7. Step 7: Wafer lines

Draw 3 short slanted lines across the wafer for its stripes.

  8. Step 8: The table

Draw a table line under the cup, just touching its bottom.

  9. Step 9: Tan wafer, green leaf

Go over your lines. Colour the wafer tan and the leaf green.

  10. Step 10: White cream, red cherry

Leave the cream and the thin band under the rim white. Colour the cherry red and the stem brown.

Tip Leave a tiny white shine on the cherry.

  11. Step 11: Brown pudding

Colour the pudding brown inside the rim around the cream and wafer, and below the curve. Your pudding is done!
