How to Draw BBQ Ribs
Draw BBQ ribs in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Across the middle of your paper, draw a big oval plate, leaving space at both ends.
Step 2: The rim
Draw a second oval a finger inside the plate, all the way round, for the rim.
Step 3: The rack
Inside the rim, draw a long thick slab with soft round corners, almost straight.
Tip Leave room above and below it for the bones.
Step 4: Rib lines
Start on the top edge and draw 4 slanted lines down the slab, stopping just before the bottom.
Step 5: Bone ends
Along the top edge, draw 5 short bones sticking up, one in each rib, each with a round end.
Step 6: Bones below
Under each bone, draw its other end poking out of the bottom edge, round like the top.
Step 7: The table
Draw a line under the plate from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 8: Cream bones
Go over your lines, then colour all 10 bone ends cream.
Step 9: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, going around the ribs and the bones.
Step 10: Brown ribs
Colour the meat brown. Your BBQ ribs are done!
