How to Draw a VR Headset
Draw a VR headset in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the visor.
Step 1: The visor
Across the middle of your paper, draw a long flat goggle shape with a small nose dip at the bottom.
Tip Make it more than twice as wide as it is tall.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the visor, draw 2 big egg eyes a little apart, with a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes in the middle, draw a small U smile. Add a flat oval cheek below each eye.
Step 4: Soft cushion
Start at the visor's lower left corner. Draw a soft rim up, over the top, down to the other corner.
Tip That's the soft cushion that sits on your face.
Step 5: Head strap
Start on the cushion's left side. Swing 2 lines out, round behind and back in to the right side.
Tip The strap goes round your head, so it curves back behind the visor.
Step 6: Top strap
From the middle of the cushion top, draw a thin strap straight up to the head strap behind.
Step 7: Shine and sparkles
Start near the visor's left end and draw a short curved shine line up. Add 3 little sparkles around.
Step 8: Shadow
Under the visor, draw a long flat oval for the shadow, tucked behind the bottom edge.
Step 9: Grey straps
Colour the head strap, the top strap, the cushion rim and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Slate visor
Colour the visor slate, going around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Ready to play!
