How to Draw a Virgo

Step 1: The head

A little left of the middle, near the top, draw a big egg for the head, narrower at the chin.

Tip Leave room on the right for the Virgo sign.

Step 2: Big eyes and lashes

Draw 2 big oval eyes below the middle of the head. Add a black dot, a shine and a lash.

Step 3: Nose and smile

Draw a tiny U nose between the eyes. Add a wide smile under it, eye to eye, and 2 eyebrows.

Step 4: Hair and fringe

Start on the head's left side. Draw hair over the top, then 3 soft bumps back for the fringe.

Step 5: Neck and dress

Draw 2 neck lines under the chin. Slope shoulders out from them, then down to the bottom. Add a collar.

Step 6: Long hair

Start at the top of the hair. Draw a long curve down each side and stop on the shoulders.

Tip Make both sides match, like a curtain behind her.

Step 7: Wheat crown

Start on the hair's left edge. Draw a curve across the hair and stop on the right edge.

Tip It dips at the sides, like a smile upside down.

Step 8: Wheat grains

On the curve draw 4 pointed grains each side, all leaning in towards the middle.

Tip Each grain is fat at the bottom and pointed at the top.

Step 9: The Virgo sign

On the right draw an m with 3 legs. Loop a tail from the last leg back across it.

Tip Start with the left leg, then 2 arches, then the loop.

Step 10: Two stars

Draw a small star with 4 points on each side of her, one high and one low.

Step 11: Yellow wheat

Colour the wheat grains and the 2 stars yellow.

Step 12: Peach skin, pink cheeks

Colour a pink circle on each cheek. Colour the face and neck peach around them. Leave the eyes white.

Tip Press lightly for the cheeks.

Step 13: Green dress

Colour the dress green.

Step 14: Brown hair

Colour all the hair brown, around the yellow wheat. Go over your lines. Your Virgo is done!
