How to Draw a Victorian House
Draw a Victorian house in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the roof.
Step 1: The roof
A little above the middle of your paper draw a pointy roof, like a hat with a thick brim.
Step 2: The walls
Start under the brim, near the left end. Draw down, across the bottom, and back up to the brim.
Step 3: The round turret
On the left, start on the ground. Draw a tall tower up past the roof, then down to the ground.
Step 4: The witch-hat top
On the turret draw a tall pointed witch's hat. Add a thin ledge under it and a spike on top.
Step 5: The front door
Draw a tall door in the middle, a little above the bottom line. Add a small window and a knob.
Step 6: The porch roof
Over the door draw a long low roof with a flat bottom. From each end draw a post down to the ground.
Step 7: Stoop and ground
Start on the bottom line under the door, draw a low step back down to it. Add ground and grass.
Step 8: Square windows
Draw a square window with a cross on each side of the door. Add 2 arched windows in the turret.
Step 9: The attic window
In the roof above the porch draw a little arched window with a plus sign inside.
Step 10: Fancy trim
Along the bottom of the roof brim draw a row of little round dots, skipping the turret.
Step 11: Two bushes
Draw a bumpy dome bush at each bottom corner, with a little leaf line inside.
Step 12: Pink walls, blue windows
Colour the walls and the turret pink, and all the windows sky blue.
Step 13: Green bushes, purple roofs
Colour the bushes leaf green. Colour the roofs, witch's hat, door and step purple, around the windows and dots.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a Victorian house, drawn by you.
