How to Draw Venus
Draw Venus in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the planet.
Step 1: The planet
In the middle of your paper, draw a big round planet that fills most of the page.
Tip The face goes on it, so make it big.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the planet, draw 2 big eyes, one eye apart, each with a black dot and shine.
Step 3: A big smile
Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile from under the left eye across to under the right eye.
Step 4: Top cloud band
Above the eyes, draw a wavy cloud line from edge to edge, and another just like it a little lower.
Step 5: Bottom cloud band
Under the smile, draw 2 more wavy lines from edge to edge, one a little below the other.
Step 6: Two cloud curls
Between the top band and the eyes, draw a little curl on each side, like a tiny snail shell.
Step 7: Stars
Around the planet draw 4 small five-point stars, one near each corner.
Step 8: Rosy cheeks
Beside each end of the smile, colour a small pink oval for a rosy cheek.
Step 9: Sand planet, peach clouds
Colour the planet sand yellow, going around the cheeks and cloud bands. Leave the eyes white. Colour the bands peach.
Step 10: Yellow stars
Colour the 4 stars yellow. Go over your lines and Venus is done!
