How to Draw Velcro Shoes
Draw Velcro shoes in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the sole.
Step 1: The sole
Low on your paper draw a long flat sole seen from the side: a thin box from left to right.
Tip Velcro shoes have straps you rip open, no laces to tie.
Step 2: The shoe
From the left end of the sole draw up over the toe, along the top, and down to the sole.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
On the toe end of the shoe draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, and a tiny oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 5: 2 open straps
Start halfway down the shoe. Draw 2 wide straps up over the top, their round ends flapping open.
Step 6: Velcro lines
Draw a line across the round end of each strap for its sticky velcro patch.
Step 7: Opening and heel loop
From the top behind the straps, draw a dipping curve to the heel for the opening. Add a heel loop.
Step 8: Toe cap and stripe
Draw a short curve across the tip of the toe, and a curved stripe down the heel end.
Step 9: Ground and sparkles
Draw a ground line under the sole from left to right, and a sparkle at each side.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Colour the straps, heel loop and sparkles yellow, and the cheeks pink. Leave the sole white.
Step 11: Blue shoe
Colour the shoe blue, going around the straps, the face and the opening. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Navy opening
Colour the ankle opening navy. Rip, stick, go!
