How to Draw a Space Helmet
Draw a space helmet in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the round helmet.
Step 1: The round helmet
In the middle of your paper, a little high, draw a big circle for the helmet shell.
Step 2: The glass visor
Inside the shell draw a second big circle, nearly as big, sitting a little low.
Step 3: Face in the glass
In the visor draw 2 big round eyes with black dots, a smile under them, and a cheek each side.
Step 4: Shiny glass
Inside the top left of the visor draw a curved gleam line, and a tiny short one next to it.
Step 5: The neck ring
At the bottom of the shell draw a flat oval ring, tucking its top half behind the shell.
Step 6: The collar
Under the ring draw a wide short box for the collar, with a line across it.
Step 7: Side boxes
Draw 2 side boxes starting and stopping on the shell. From the right box draw an antenna to a ball.
Tip Put a lamp circle on the left box.
Step 8: Sparkle stars
Draw 4 little sparkle stars around the helmet, not touching it.
Step 9: The table line
Start well left of the collar, draw a long table line along its bottom, and stop well right of it.
Step 10: Sky glass, pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink and the visor sky blue around them, leaving the eyes and shell white.
Step 11: Yellow lamp, grey collar
Colour the lamp, ball and stars yellow, and the neck ring and collar grey.
Step 12: Red side boxes
Go over your lines. Colour the side boxes red around the lamp.

Your finished drawing
