How to Draw a Vampire
Draw a vampire in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg head, a little narrower at the chin.
Step 2: Face and fangs
Draw 2 eyes with brows, a tiny nose and a smile. Hang 2 fangs from the smile, down to points.
Step 3: Slicked hair
Start on the left of the head, draw smooth hair over to the right. Dip the hairline to a point.
Step 4: Neck and cape
Draw 2 neck lines. From behind each cheek, draw a collar point and a cape down to a wavy hem.
Step 5: Suit
From the neck lines, draw the suit top: shoulders, sides and bottom. Add 2 slanting lapel lines on the chest.
Step 6: Bow tie
Under the chin, draw a bow tie: 2 small triangles pointing in to a tiny knot.
Step 7: Arms spread wide
From each shoulder, draw a long bent sleeve reaching out and down like a bat wing. Add a cuff line.
Step 8: Mitten hands
At the end of each sleeve, draw a mitten hand with a thumb, holding the cape edge.
Step 9: Trousers
Start at the left corner of the suit. Draw long trousers down and back up to the right corner.
Step 10: Shoes and ground
Under each leg, draw a shoe with the toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under the shoes.
Step 11: Pale skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck and hands cream, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes, fangs and shirt white.
Step 12: Black cape, red tie
Colour the tie red, the suit dark grey around the shirt, and the hair, shoes and cape black around him.
