How to Draw an Embarrassed Face
Draw an embarrassed face in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper, draw a big soft egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Make it nearly half the page tall: a cartoon head is big.
Step 2: Eyes looking away
In the middle of the head, draw 2 oval eyes. Put a black dot in each, over to the left.
Tip Both dots sit on the same side, so the eyes look away.
Step 3: Tilted eyebrows
Above each eye, draw a short eyebrow that is higher at the end nearest the middle of the face.
Tip Eyebrows that tilt like this say oops.
Step 4: Wobbly smile
Under the eyes, draw a smile that wobbles: down, up a little, down, up a little, then up.
Tip The two ends still point up, so it stays a smile.
Step 5: Big cheeks
Under each eye, draw a wide oval on the cheek. Keep it inside the head.
Tip Draw these lightly. They turn red at the end.
Step 6: Bobbed hair
Start low on the left cheek. Draw the hair out, up over the head and down to the right cheek.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the hair.
Step 7: Fringe
Start on the right cheek edge. Draw up the face, across the forehead and down. Stop on the left cheek.
Tip The fringe sits just above the eyebrows.
Step 8: A sweat drop
Beside the hair, up on the right, draw one drop with its point at the top.
Tip One drop shows a hot, flustered feeling.
Step 9: Neck and top
Under the chin, draw 2 short neck lines and a U collar. Slope a shoulder out and down each side.
Step 10: Peach skin
Colour the face and the neck peach, around the 2 cheek ovals. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Yellow top, blue drop
Colour the top yellow. Colour the sweat drop light blue.
Step 12: Red cheeks, brown hair
Colour both cheek ovals red. Colour the hair brown. Go over your lines to finish.
