How to Draw a Mail Carrier
Draw a mail carrier in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 small eyes, a U nose and a smile. Add C ears, starting and ending on the head line.
Step 3: Peaked cap
Draw a cap with a wide flat top above the head, and a curve across the forehead. Add a visor.
Step 4: Neck, shirt and collar
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one draw a shirt round to the right one. Add a small collar.
Step 5: Mail bag
Draw a strap across the chest from the right shoulder to the left hip. Add a box bag there.
Step 6: Arms
From the left sleeve draw an arm hanging down. From the right sleeve draw an arm bent across the tummy.
Step 7: Mitten hands
Start at the left wrist, draw a mitten and stop on the arm. Add a fist to the right arm.
Step 8: A letter
In the right fist draw a small rectangle letter poking out left, with a V flap from the top corners.
Step 9: Trousers
Start at the shirt's bottom left corner. Draw 2 long trouser legs down and up to the right corner.
Step 10: Shoes and ground
Under each leg draw a shoe with a round toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under the shoes.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, ears, neck, arms and hands peach, with a pink circle on each cheek. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Blue uniform, brown bag
Colour the cap and the shirt blue, and the strap and the bag brown. Leave the letter white.
Step 13: Navy and black
Colour the trousers navy, and the visor and the shoes black. Go over your lines.
