How to Draw a Valentine Card
Draw a Valentine card in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the card.
Step 1: The card
In the middle of your paper draw a tall box for the card, taller than it is wide.
Step 2: The back page
Start at the top right corner. Slant up and out, go straight down, and back to the bottom corner.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Near the top of the card draw 2 big egg eyes. Add a big black dot and a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: A big heart
Under the face draw one big heart filling the lower half. Start and end at the top dip.
Step 6: Little hearts
Near the bottom corners of the card, draw 2 little hearts, one on each side.
Step 7: Ground and shadow
Draw a ground line under the card. Add a thin flat oval shadow under it.
Step 8: Floating hearts
Draw 2 little hearts floating beside the card, one high on the left and one on the right.
Step 9: Cream card, pink back
Colour the front cream around the hearts and cheeks, and the back page pink. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Red hearts, pink cheeks
Colour the big heart and the 2 little hearts red, and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Pink hearts, grey shadow
Colour the floating hearts pink and the shadow grey. Your valentine card is ready to give!
