How to Draw a Unicorn Mask
Draw a unicorn mask in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: mask shape.
Step 1: Mask shape
Draw a big face shape, wide at the top and narrow at the chin, like an upside-down egg.
Tip Make both sides match. A paper mask is flat.
Step 2: Two eye holes
In the top half of the mask draw 2 big almond shapes. These are the holes you look through.
Tip Leave a wide gap between the holes for your nose.
Step 3: Peeking eyes
Inside each hole draw a round eye peeking through. Colour a black dot in it and leave a white shine.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 4: Nose and smile
Start at the left edge, curve across and stop at the right edge. Add 2 nostrils and a smile.
Step 5: Two ears
On each top corner draw a pointy ear. Add a smaller pointy shape inside each one.
Step 6: Pointy horn
From the middle of the top, draw a tall thin triangle. Add 3 slanted stripes across it.
Tip Slant all 3 stripes the same way.
Step 7: Fluffy mane
Around the bottom of the horn draw a fluffy tuft of mane, hanging down in 3 soft curls.
Step 8: Holding stick
From behind one cheek, draw a long thin stick straight down. Round off the end.
Tip You hold the mask up by its stick.
Step 9: Cream mask
Colour the face and ears cream. Go around the mane, the eye holes and the nose.
Tip Leave the eye holes white.
Step 10: Yellow horn, tan stick
Colour the horn yellow and the stick tan.
Step 11: Pink nose and ears
Colour the nose and the insides of the ears pink.
Step 12: Purple mane
Colour the fluffy mane purple. Your unicorn mask is ready to wear!
