How to Draw a Vacuum
Draw a vacuum in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the body.
Step 1: The body
In the middle of your paper draw a tall rounded body with a dome top and a flat bottom.
Tip Like a fat loaf of bread standing up.
Step 2: The base
Under the body draw a wide flat base that pokes out past both sides.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the body draw 2 big egg eyes. Add a big black dot in each with a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The handle
From the top of the body draw a tall thin handle straight up, with a flat grip across the top.
Step 6: Wheels and button
Under the base draw a small wheel at each end. Add a little round button on top of the body.
Step 7: Hose and nozzle
From the body's right side, draw a fat hose looping down to a nozzle on the floor.
Step 8: Dust puffs
By the left end of the base, draw 3 little dust puffs like clouds, each with 3 bumps.
Step 9: Ground and sparkles
Draw a ground line under the wheels from left to right. Add 3 sparkle stars round the vacuum.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles, grey dust
Go over your lines. Colour the sparkles yellow, and the hose and dust puffs grey.
Step 11: Red body, pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink, then the body red around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Grey base and handle
Colour the base, wheels, handle, grip and nozzle slate grey. Your vacuum is ready to clean!
