How to Draw a Candelabra
Draw a candelabra in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the middle candle.
Step 1: The middle candle
In the upper middle draw a tall box, about one and a half times taller than wide.
Step 2: Two eyes
Near the top of the candle draw 2 egg eyes, a little apart. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from eye to eye, and a tiny oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: Cup and ball
Under the candle draw a small flat cup, wider at the top, and a little ball under the cup.
Step 5: Stem and foot
From the ball draw a post straight down, wider at the bottom. Under it draw a wide flat oval foot.
Tip The foot is wider than the candle is tall.
Step 6: Two arms
From the ball draw a fat curved arm out to the left and another to the right, like chair arms.
Step 7: Side candles
On each arm end draw a small flat cup, then a shorter, thinner candle with a drip.
Step 8: Wicks and flames
On each candle draw a short wick: start at the top and stop just above. Add a teardrop flame.
Step 9: Glow and floor
Draw 2 short glow lines beside the middle flame, then a floor line under the foot, from side to side.
Step 10: Cream candles
Go over your lines, then colour the 3 candles cream, going around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Gold candelabra
Colour the foot, the stem, the ball, the arms and the cups yellow.
Step 12: Orange flames, pink cheeks
Colour the flames orange and the cheeks pink, and your candelabra lights up the room!
